WINES BY THE GLASS – 6 ounces
Chardonnay 2017 - Terra Blanca Red Mountain, WA $8.50 Exhibits flavors of Fuji apple and tropical notes balanced with vibrant acidity, imparts creaminess on the finish and gives the wine a roundness without overwhelming oak.
Rioja 2017– Monopole Northern Spain $7.00 Made from the Viura grape variety, the 2017 Monopole shows a pale yellow color with greenish reminiscences. The aromas are composed of a set of typical fruits of the Rioja region, such as apple, pear, white currants and spring flowers. In the mouth it is attractive, in a soft and fresh way, with a long finish that culminates in a fruity aftertaste.
Pinot Gris 2017 – Adelsheim Willamette Valley, OR $7.75 Aromas of white peach, minerality, and pear blossom. It pulls off the difficult feat of providing a gentle creaminess that lends a rich, mouth-filling texture and long finish, yet is still impressing as a wine that’s crisp and clean.
Riesling 2017 – Bex Nahe, Germany $7.00 Emerald straw color. Fruity aromas of ripe kiwi in vanilla creme, sweet aloe vera, underripe pineapple, caraway, and beeswax with a satiny, lively, dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body and an even, medium-length star fruit, honeysuckle, and tart pear finish with no oak flavor. A mouthwatering, dry "gateway" Riesling packed with fruit
Rosé NV – Two Mountain Winery Yakima Valley, WA 9oz $7.50 This Rosé opens with aromas of strawberry, raspberry and hints of floral followed by flavors of cranberry, strawberry and rhubarb with wonderfully firm acid on the finish.
Cabernet Franc 2016 Terra Blanca Red Mountain, WA $8.75 Aromas of boysenberry, plum and blackberry with notes of rose petal, toffee, graphite and violet waif out of the glass. On the palate red fruits lead into a ripe blackberry, black current and dark plum core with hints of lavender, spice, ancho pepper and toffee. A bright acid profile elevates the fruit flavors and the finely integrated tannin structure creates long smooth finish.
Malbec – 2017 Argento Mendoza, Argentina $7.50 This superb Malbec is deep purple, with powerful aromas of red berries and floral notes. Flavors of plum and sweet blackberry. Finishes with ripe, balanced tannins.
Pinot Noir – 2015 Watershed by Winter’s Hill Dundee Hills, OR $8.75 Streaks of stem, bark and stone dominate this wine, with barely ripe fruit well in the background. Tannins are stiff and dominant, and the overall finish feels a bit green. It's a serviceable rather than sexy style. 86 points, Wine Enthusiast
Claret – 2014 Del Rio Vineyards Rogue Valley, OR $7.50 49% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec. Behind the intense raspberry and ripe strawberry flavors the nose reveals wood nuances of eucalyptus and cedar mixed with herbal scent of thyme and rosemary. The textured mouthfeel is an intricate blend of violet, herbal and cedar taste. This fruitful and structured blend finishes with tasty and firm tannins
Prosecco D.O.C. (Extra Dry)– Corte Delle Calli Conegliano, Italy Glass $7.50
Moscoto Di Asti -2017 Vittorio E. Figli Bera Piemonte, Italy ½ BOTTLE Special $17.50 Made from the highly aromatic Moscato grape, this classic Piedmontese sparkler is produced using the Charmat method. Fresh and fruity, this dessert-style wine. Straw-yellow in color, this wine shows lively aromas of fresh grapes, honey, white flowers and orange blossoms. Rich and sweet but rounded by brisk acidity.
PREMIUM WINES BY THE HALF BOTTLE 375ml
Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 – Hahn Estates Soledad, CA $17.00 Inviting blackberry and cassis aromatics complement notes of vanilla, toasted oak and a touch of leather. Rich and robust, chewy tannins frame flavors of blackberry and blueberry leading to a smooth, opulent finish.
Chardonnay 2017 – Macroste Sonoma Coast, CA $18.00 The 2017 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay has a white apricot and peach-scented nose with notes of citrus, sliced almonds and toast. Light to medium-bodied, it offers plenty of stone fruit flavors in the mouth with juicy acidity to carry the nutty finish. 90 Points, Robert Parker
Pinot Gris 2015 Watershed by Winter’s Hill Dundee Hills, OR $16.00 This Pinot Gris starts with a bouquet of ripe pear, cantaloupe, white tea, and crushed wildflowers. There are flavors of ripe pear, starfruit, mango and hints of wet stone. The minerality and mouthfeel is lovely, as this is another great value from this estate.
Pinot Noir 2017 – Macroste Sonoma Coast, CA $20.00 The wine shows bright cherry and ripe cranberry aromas, with hints of sandalwood and mint. On the palate there's more juicy red fruit, like a good strawberry or rhubarb pie. The lingering finish is crisp and refreshing.
